I think this photo is showing a fear of isolation. Its portraying someone going away and then being a lone as the end result. I like the way the hands are kinda blurred and not as apparent as the first hands. I think this photo was successfully done, its got its point across in a very smart way. The only thing I would've fixed would be to put the word somewhere else.
This is the fear of letting go. It shows two people letting go of each others hand which obviously shows the fear that you chose. What could be fixed is maybe the place of the text, like if it was shifted to another spot.
I think that you are trying to show the fear of letting go. The photo successful in conveying the fear because the hands are getting further and further away from each other. I would also put the word somewhere and maybe see what it would look like black and white.
